rhetorical question... but yeah... we currently have a better record (even though its with sabans players) AND won the Alabama game with our 3rd string running back running... I'd say LSU isnt doing too shabby... My Doctor whom I work for is a Penn State grad and a huge PSU fan, he commented that he watched the LSU game on saturday and said he hopes we lose because he doesnt want PSU to LOSE to a SEC team, much less my team... He commented on how good our receivers were and how "Number 3 definetly caught one of those passes that they said he didnt" Very impressed, he said it seemed like LSU "turned on a switch at halftime".. SO - Some LSU fans might not be able to understand that LSU is 8-1 now, and currently in the running for a shot at another national championship. But, other fans around the country do see it, even if the media doesnt... Like ole Ivan Maisel said "no one wants to play LSU right now" :geauxtige
Judging from all the comments you would think LSU lost the Alabama game. Hey guys, WE WON!!!!! Can anyone honestly say that if he had known beforehand that LSU would have won by three points he would not have been happy? Sure we looked bad in the first half, but we made mental and tactical adjustments, came back in the second half and won the damn game! That's what football is about. LSU is 7 and 1, will likely be 9 and 1 at the end of the regular season, will equally likely to be playing for the SEC championship and may have missed a shot at another national title by four lousy points. Come on guys, look at the big picture.
Since that damn pic has now made it's way to every sports forum from here to china, you guys need to stop saying that "there is nothing wrong with that". Some people take that statement to seriously.
Correction....LSU is 8-1, likely to be 10-1, will be playing in the SECCG. The National Championship is up to the BIG MAN upstairs.
THE BIGGG PICTURE ... doesn't include LSU ... unless the MAN strikes Matt Leinart & Vince Young dead with lightning bolts from his arse ... Get the Net! Be happy with a chance at running the table and beating GA and playing two games in Mylanta ... one hopefully a Sugar Bowl ... What a year and a long strange trip it's been!
