Keep an eye on the auburn offense, lots of movement. There is always one guy that seems to be going the wrong way on some plays. They try a freeze the LB's and DB's for that couple seconds. Lots of things going on in the offense, it also helps to have speed. Look back, Chief has done a better job than most breaking down this offense.
Somewhat, but he doesn't have a player like Scam. Don't see those too often. You are right, much of the same stuff, but like I said, a busy offense.
While LSU did hold Auburn down, that was early in the season. If that game is played again, we give up 35. At least. Auburn didn't find itself offensively until that last 6 games.
Bama in a walk away in the 2nd half. Bama's D is built to stop running teams of any sort. Saban will keep them on assignment and stuff every hole. They will stack the line for the run and Auburn won't have long drives. There is nothing to fear about the Auburn passing game except dumb ass luck. On Offense the gumps do the same thing they did to us wear them out and pick them apart. My prediction gumps 37 aubies 14.
Gary Danielson did a good job yesterday highlighting how the two offenses are basically identical. CBS showed three clips comparing 2010 to 2013 featuring how Marshall was running the same plays as Newton, Mason running the same play as Dyer, and one other. I can't recall the third comparison. And it still boils down to a series of six or so plays. A lot of motion around them, but the same play in the end. In a sense it's no different from defending the Ducks offense—assignment football.
I would flip that around and say we played a different version of Georgia and lost to that team. Now, I don't think Georgia beats us.
