I think the difference here is that Pat White is a good passer, but an even better runner. I think if they can contain him, they could possibly win, but I think WV will win with White running the ball effectively.
My boss is a Stanfurd season ticket holder, even though he's a San Jose State alum. I LOVE the Cardinal at 0-9. I've told him that MANY times. I'll love 'em even more if they go 0-12. What a way to christen their new stadium. :thumb: :thumb: :hihi:
I know. I was reading an article in the Mercury that came out before the season. It was about Stanford football and how they now have an offense that can gel. It reads of other promising things to come this year. The funny part is that at the school I work at, they still have it posted in the boys locker room from before the season started. :hihi:
Yeah, and now they have the articles out about in the local rags about how they're not gonna lower their academic standards to allow better athletes into Stanfurd. WAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH Sounds like an extended whine to me from here....
I was listening to the Razor and Mr. T show (Mr. T being Tom Tolbert) and they were saying that there are many players that want to play football, but find their education more important. Now honestly, I'm sure there is a difference in education between Stanford and other schools, but seriously, how different is it? Cal is the team of Berkley, correct? And look at their academics and football team... I just wonder how a Stanford education is better than an LSU education...
agreed. I was extremely happy for them the other night and it would be nice to see an unhearald player like Ray Rice win the Heisman (which he should be more of a threat to do so than what he already is), but I just don't see Rutgers finishing undefeated either.
