This is exactly why the economy and our freedoms are going down the toilet. When confronted with the ugly truth, Obama supporters simply point to Bush and suddenly the conversation is diverted to how badly he sucked. Meanwhile, Obama smirks and continues to implement his far left agenda.

By the time everyone realizes that universal health care, climate change, corporate welfare and taxing the rich has driven everyone into an existence dependent on the government, it will be too late.

The economy( Recession started in late 2007) and our freedoms(Patriot Act, Warrantless Wiretaps 2004-2008) went down the drain way before Obama took office. Get off of it. You cant be objective in placing blame, its all a liberal agenda created by Obama to you. Give me a break, will ya.

    true.

that bush sucked doesnt change the fact that obama is going absolutely crazy, with the GM stuff and the trillions of dollars spent.

i think almost all of us here will concede that bush spent too much. can we get past that and now accept that the obama intrusion into private companies, as well as the crazy spending is terrible and incredibly dangerous?

i think some folks are more interested in finger pointing for their political team than actual reality.

is a gm takeover a good or bad thing? is a trillion dollar per year deficit increase ok? these are the questions. the issue isnt "yeah well bush sucked too".

I have a friend on The Wall, relatives maimed, and friends and relatives back safe. Not one was ever jeered at or spit on, and I have asked. The soldiers came home one at a time over 8 years and not all together at the end to a big victory parade in Manhattan. Many came home to a lot of apathy and about the war. But damn few ever came home to jeers and spitting. That's a cliche. Nobody but a few flower power kooks in Frisco blamed the troops for being drafted and sent overseas. Public anger was directed at Johnson and Nixon.

Gee, here I've been trying to teach my kid that two wrongs don't make a right. And all along I should have been teaching that one wrong makes a bigger wrong OK?

I in no way meant to excuse Hussein's ineptitude by pointing out GW's. However this thread is a perfect example of what I meant by my post. The Republicans blame the Democrats and the Democrats blame the Republicans. No one wants to look at what their own party has done to flush this country down the toilet, it just has to be the other sides fault. There are things I dislike about the Democratic(now Socialist/Communist) party and there are things I dislike about the Republican party. The biggest thing I hate about both and their radical far right/far left robots is that they refuse to accept the large amount of blame they both deserve.

Both parties have abandoned the American people and gaining political power is by far their number one priority. If either really wants to fix what is wrong with the US they better start by fixing what is wrong with themselves. However having these far left/ far right robot wars has worked out just fine for them. Neither has to accomplish a damn thing and they can always blame the other side. Then when the people finally get pi$$ed off enough at whoever is in power and votes them out, the other side gets their chance to rape, rob and pillage the American people while doing absolutely nothing.
