I do not understand why people have a problem with Vandy's band playing while ours was playing at the end. Look, it is their home stadium (despite the fact we had more LSU fans there). They have no obligation to break from their own post-game traditions. They have every right to go through their normal routine after the game. Theiir student body sure as hell deserved it because they were a VERY supportive and dedicated bunch throughout the game. Hats off to Vandy's band and student body for sticking with their own traditions.
Actually, I'm pretty sure it was an LSU fan who did the deed. I may be wrong, but thats what the people right behind me were saying. So... might not want to bring that incident up with the SEC.
I've heard some of the guys staying in the stands during halftime that it was.... also that it wasn't an LSU fan... heh... so I don't know..
Well, guess that goes to show that speculation is just that and not fact. Hopefully your sources are better than mine.
I was at the game. As I watched the band go through their routines at halftime I was thinking, if only the football team could execute with the precision of the band, we could have been up by thirty points at halftime.
That was a pretty funny FT. :thumb: Kungpow chicka chicka alolgote puedog sukasuka puonduan kungpow (translation: He kicked his a$$)
Y'all sounded great and made us proud as usual and it was great to hear y'all play that Chinese Bandits thingamagigee after our D takes them out. I was gonna do that arm thingee that we do when y'all play that to Bo Pellini at church, but he wasn't at the mass he's usually at and if he doesn't know what that arm thingee thing that we do is then he'd be thinking that I was doing the ' "We're not worthy" arm thingee from Wayne's World which would just be weird. Probably good that he wasn't at that mass. I am glad that the D played better because that means that people might go easier on him. They are really nice people. His wife called coaches from all over (or their wives) and has organized over 200 backpacks filled with school supplies to be delivered here for hurricane relief. His little precious two year old told me "De twaffic was bad and de hurricanes hurt her bo bo on her weg fom de mosquitoes." Welcome to Louisiana! I hope our D keeps playing aggresively.
