I think the "Hussein" thing is kind of a lightweight taunt at this point. In fact the Paris Hilton kind of lightened the intended negative jab at Obama. McCain needs to guard against the impression that he's only about trying to distract from Obama and start delivering his own message.

Of course, Obama's team is probably going to step right into it and go negative themselves.

These campaigns last too damn long. We don't deserve to be bombarded with more than 6 months of this crap. It would be more civil, cheaper, and more about the issues if it were a short campaign

Once the libs fall in love with someone, as much time as possible is needed to expose the object of their affections. That's how people like Jimmy Carter get elected.

Who called Bush Hitler, the difference is I dont play into that game calling him Hilter , I gave him compliments yesterday. But you will play into the Hussein crap.

I did call some his activity criminal and yes I do seriously believe that.

Once again, nobody said you did. But there are people that do compare him to Hitler. That thumbnail was used to illustrate the absurdity of that position. The door swings both ways, you know.

You're entitled to that belief. Just as I'm entitled to my belief that that sort of thinking is silly.

It does swing both ways, but Bush isnt running for president right now.

I dont think that line of thinking is silly, I guess all of the congressional inquiries to his activity is silly as well, but trying to impeach Clinton wasnt.
Like you said the door swing both ways.

I posted the links b/c they had direct quotes from Jindal. If you want another source of the quotes then just ask otherwise you didn't read.

And no it is not a Jindal bashing thread but the similarities are hard to miss.

Would you rather lack of experience or many years of bad experience?

    Touchy, touchy.

Sorry. I forgot...any hint or implication that The Chosen One might not be all that he represents himself to be is frowned upon. So sorry. My mistake.

But getting back to the topic at hand...the guy's middle name IS Hussein. That's a fact, and nothing, short of him legally changing his name, is going to change that. The fact that it's an inconvenient truth :)lol:) for his supporters is pretty much irrelevant to what the Governor of Louisiana is called.

    Define "bad experience".

The job of POTUS is not an entry level position. The world moves way too fast today and there's way too much at stake for there to be an on-the-job trainee at the helm.
