I will agree with you there, but it certainly makes me more comfortable knowing that the man in charge is somebody who has been there, done that, and knows how the military operates. He lived the lifestyle for a good majority of his life and frankly, I think that his military background makes him much better equipped to handle duties as Commander-in-Chief, much like I think his legislative experience makes him more better equipped to handle being President.

The man isn't perfect - not at all. I was a HUGE fan of his back in 2000, but that obviously didn't workout. But I'm optimistic enough that he'll bring this country back to the middle, moreso than I think Obama will.

You underestimate how McCains company with Bush and Cheney is perceived by those who aren't ultra-conservative.

Then you have contradicted yourself with both of these issues. Obama appeals to the stupid poor people and also the elite intelligentsia, you say.

Don't judge Obama by old stereotypes. In fact, if you actually read Obama's platform, you'll see he's advocating a broad range of issues that are supporting the huge middle class. Like Bill Clinton, he knows where middle America is and it is neither the Ted Kennedy left or the Republican right.

Indeed. For that reason, I am not accusing any McCain supporter of being dimwitted, me-first, goose-stepping fascists.

What gives you the impression that only republicans work and have money?

There is that possiblity. The fact is that neither of these guys has first-class Presidential credentials and neither of these guys is a loser either.

Actually you are tossing out names, some of whom I am not aware of, without explaining why they are scum. Anonymous scum doesn't bother me much. I'm not impressed when people toss around invective based on facts not in evidence. Show me the money.

I'm just asking you to make your case or quit squawking about it, Sergeant.
