Is that Miles' wife and kids around him? How many kids does he have? Anyway, I wasn't surprised at all or even worried that we were going to the championship by the time the show aired. The coaches poll came out hours earlier and by our own forum's BCS expert we knew it was a done deal. The other give away was that only the LSU team was assembled in mass for the announcement, just like last year when the hopeful FLA team was present. The BCS show doesn't assemble teams that have lost out on a chance to play in the big game and show a dissappointed team. Judging by our team's reaction they seemed genuinely surprised though and I'm glad they shared that moment. Sought of like Christmas as a tiny child wondering if there will be presents under the tree.
I think my favorite pic is the 2nd one LSUtiger327 posted... CLM looks like he is howling... a perfect reaction to the news
My first thought was that he felt an oppurunity for redemption. I believe he blames himself for the Ark loss andhow he played in the first half. I really do expect him to play lights-out Jan 7.
That is SOOOO BEAUTIFUL!!!! Thanks for posting it. Those guys went into the season with great expectations, and to shoulder them, to play your guts out, to encounter some down experiences with Kentucky and Arkansas, to lose your starting QB for the SEC championship game as well as your defensive leader (Dorsey), and to deal with rumors about your head coach leaving on the day of the SEC championship game, and to win the SEC, and to be invited to play in the national championship game, it is really quite remarkable. The joy on their faces makes it all worthwhile to me as a fan. Those pictures make my season complete. Winning the championship will just be icing on the cake for me now. Flynn's expression is the best. He's 110% TIGER, for sure!!! PS: All english teachers can critique my sentence, I don't care right now! It's a great time to be a Tiger fan, THESE ARE THE GOOD OLD DAYS!!
