Auburn will be successful with the run. Not the kind of success they had against MSU, but good, solid, drive-sustaining yardage. They'll pass about as much as they have recently with some success. LSU's backs will find it harder to run against Auburn but won't be relegated to non-factor status. The LSU offense will rely on more passing and will move the ball some too. LSU wins the toss and defers, after holding AU to one 1st down AU punts to have the ball returned to AU's 45, Mauck throws a couple of screens, then we bust it up the middle for the 1st, Mauck then goes deep for the TD to a TE. The O has AU off balance for most of the game, but behind the caddie AU makes a game of it toward the end, but the Fighting Tigers hang on to win it 31 to 20.
