If 3 teams go undefeated and AU is left out of the MNC game, SEC fans should have a stroke.

Why do I want Auburn to lose all the time?

The main reason is the fact that I'm offended by the personal insults and utter contempt that many Auburn fans have for my state, my team, my culture and my people.

Let me ask you a question, Woman. How do YOU respond to people who disrespect, impugn and disparage YOUR state, YOUR team, YOUR culture and YOUR people?

If your answer is that you would give them a big kiss and try to be nice and hope to be friends one day, then you are different than am I.

Perhaps you know of many folks from that part of the state of Alabama where Auburn infests the countryside. Perhaps they have nothing but nice things to say about my state, my culture, my people, etc. If so, then it's too bad that they are never around to be critical of your fellow Auburnites who relish in disparaging us.

People from the part of Alabama that Auburn infests have some nerve to be critical of ANYTHING about Louisiana or LSU. I've spent enough time at Fort Benning to know that there's nothing special about that part of Alabama. There is certainly no comparison to what Louisiana has with regard to culture, food, music, etc. etc.

And, oh, by the way, your team has to win 2 SEC Championships and one BCS Championship before you're even with LSU!

If you and other kind folks like you can try to stop the personal insults from your fans about Louisiana, then perhaps we can mend fences. Until I see progress in that area, I reserve the right to hope that Auburn goes 0-11.

And forget about the chances of me pulling for Auburn in ANY Iron Bowl, unless an Auburn victory directly benefits LSU.

I am not going to address the fact that you came on here to complain about us. Ridiculous. What I will say is this.

You pulled for LSU last night because you had to pull for LSU. We make no difference to you. You needed an LSU win. It could have been the University of Mars playing (assuming they were in the SEC) and you would have wanted them to beat UF as well. Priorities, think priorities. Look at the schedule and you know who you want to win week in and week out. Anyway, you are welcome, I guess. :dis:

I agree about hating Tubby, but don't you think the whole thing started with Terry Bowden. Terry Bowden had no respect for the other coaches in the SEC. He would make a lot of distasteful remarks about other coaches in the SEC especially the olders ones, which seems odd considering his father. That just wasn't done...not in the SEC anyway. They want to beat each other, but they respect each other....I think that before Bowden the younger coaches always showed respect for the older coaches in the SEC. Bowden was disrespectful to Gene Stallings(let me clarify that I do not consider beating as disrespect...just the comments that they make in the press), and when he acted that way towards our coach it made us think differently about Auburn. I feel that you can have a rival that you say you hate ,but still respect the other team's program, but to do so you have to respect their coach. I considered Auburn as more of a rival when Pat Dye was the coach. He is a very talented coach, and he knew how to beat you, but when he went midfield at the end of the game he and the other coach had more to say than a nod of the head. At Pat Dye's last Iron Bowl when he and Coach Stallings met midfield he wished Alabama well towards winning the National Championship, and Coach Stallings wished him well and said how much he would be missed.Today he still speaks well of Coach Dye. To me that is class, and it makes you respect the coach, and when you respect a coach...you will respect his team, because they are a reflection of him. He has trained them, and he is also a reflection of the school. Don't get me wrong, Bama has also had coaches that I can't expect other schools to respect....Coach Fran calling Auburn the "school down the road" or whatever he said was not very respectful...but look what he did....that should have shown us his true character. This is just one fan's opinion, and I do not speak for all Bama fans, but I wish Auburn well this year, but I would have more respect for their team as a team and school(not for their talent and ability...you have to respect that...look at them..they're doing great) if their coach were not such a rub it in your face kind of guy. I think he got this behavior from his time with Miami....those are the worse fans ever....Can you imagine any coach in the SEC allowing their players to hold a press conference where they talk trash about the other team............no..we just don't do that and we certainly don't want to give the other team more ammunition to beat us....Look how it helped Bama in the Sugar bowl. Bottom line...I think Auburn would be getting more respect for all their success this year from other teams, if their coach were not considered such a renegade.

I hate Auburn and hope nothing but the worst for them. I hate Auburn so much, I feel guilty.

The "National Chumps" pins many AU fans were wearing this year only fanned the flame of hatred I have for AU.

NOt true of all AU fans but some-

A friend of ours from high school played for Auburn (Reggie Torbor)and several of us made the trip to see him play in 2000. We took the SG bus trip were met with 3 yr old children as well as 75 yr old grandmother's flipping us the bird. Our bus got rocked by the fans after the game and one of the busses had a bottle thrown at it after the game. All this and LSU LOST THE GAME. I hate to see what they are like when they lose.

When our team was in LSU 4 years ago, the fans attempted to turn the player's bus over - I thought it was kind of ridiculous, but made nothing further out of it. I just tried to explain my position and got mostly hatred back. So be it. If you choose to think I am "just like every other Auburn fan" there is nothing I can say to change your mind. Plus, if you read a few of these posts, they are pretty personally insulting about me. Real classy - I do not personally insult ANYONE who comes on our boards and I would expect the same.

I hope you guys have a good rest of the season, and yeah I know....you hope we lose every other game we play. For the nice guys who posted here to me - Thanks! I know not all posters are the same (for ANY school) -
