There is a reason TT can't recruit certain areas of TX. Many coaches know whats going on with him, its just a matter of time.
I would think Trooper Taylor and his actions & relations while recruiting should be a greater source of worry to Auburn. He has a long trail of let’s say interesting recruiting methods. That may be the real fire in the barn. Miss State shouldn't be forgotten in "Camgate" in fact there is documentation that they offered $$$ for Cam's services. There is only innuendo about Auburn there. Ms State is exposed and who the NCAA is looking at about Cam is open to speculation. It is fun to guess and let emotions carry us away but my guess is both Auburn & Ms State will pay.
This is true, the NCAA does its homework. Not many coaches will turn another coach in, but they won't lie to the NCAA for another coach.
Come on PT. She was talking to Chizik. “You'll know when we're finished,” Roe Lach told Chizik, “And we're not finished." That's not something she would say if they were looking at Mississippi State only. Auburn, the SEC offices, and the NCAA have been contacted about the exchange and all of the declined to comment. I don't know where you are getting that information, but you are being misled. And, FWIW, there is no such thing as a PLOI. As soon as the NCAA begins an investigation they send a LOI—Letter of Inquiry. As soon as the Cam investigation started, Auburn and Mississippi State received one of those. The NCAA doesn't release that publicly and the school isn't required to as well. If there hasn't been a notice of allegations sent to the school within six months of the LOI, the NCAA sends the school notice the investigation is still ongoing. If the investigation of the school is concluded, they are notified. It's that simple.
one thing is for sure. after alabama, auburn, and everyone go on probation, ole miss still wont be able to get to atlanta.
You are wrong. You should talk to your 247 counterpart Phil Marshall. Auburn has not received any letter of notification from the NCAA since 1996 and that involved basketball. The process is that the NCAA starts poking around and if they find something that justifies it they send a LOI and begin more serious investigation. In the Newton case, Auburn declared Cam inelgible to prevent the possibility of having to forfeit any future games and the NCAA declared him inelgible. NCAA Pres. Emmert subsequently said the Auburn/Newton investigation was over unless some new info turned out. The NCAA never sent a letter saying such because they never sent a letter to Auburn. You fail to mention that in the subject meeting Coach Dooley was the first one to ask Ms. Koch a question about investigations. Chizik only followed up. You, and others don't bother to quote Ms. Koch as saying she didn't take any offesne to Chizik's question. And again she DID Not say any ongoing investigation involved Auburn. Chizik would like the NCAA to just formally say the investigation is over so other coaches can't use it against Auburn in recruiting. The whole thing seems to be way over blown. I must say you should know all about the NCAA procedures since Bama currently has 16 teams on probation, more than any school in history at one time
For all sports? Remember, LSU football's only major NCAA infraction resulted in a one year probationary monitoring period with no sanctions. The only reason it was considered "major" in the first place was that the NCAA was concurrently investigating both men's and women's basketball at the same time. As far as major infractions for football only, the NCAA website lists Auburn with 5, and LSU with 1.
