You obviously don't visit other message boards very often ... LSU has its share of idiots spewing garbage on other sites as well. I think it's fair to say that these "fans" don't represent the majority of fans...

agreed, there are plenty of idiot fans to go around but I think going to USC's site and slamming us almost like treason when any other year AU would be trumpeting how tough the SEC is to enhance the caliber of bowl they would play in. Now they are locked into the Poulan toilet bowl or whatever so why not trash the SEC to hurt LSU right?
chooselsu- Some of the things you are reffering to about Auburn are things that happened over 5 years ago. I have never said what they did was ok, but it is most definitely in the past. Aside from what the Admin. at AU has done lately there isnt anything class-less about our program. Tubbs has cleaned the program up from what it was when he got there. He got rid of all the thugs and criminals. And Tubbs and his staff have shown more than their fair share of class these past 2 weeks. WAR DAMN EAGLE!!
The analogy might be a bit extreme but it is amazing to me since I've been on this message board and peeked at others how much fans and schools supposedly hate each other. I bleed purple and gold and always root for LSU, I had 2 relatives play for LSU....... I'm from Louisiana....... I've watched college football for years................ and I didn't realize fans seem to hate each other and schools.. But maybe its because I love college football and I respect it. I don't hate any team or school. If anything: I hate the way ND is on NBC. They could never win a game and always be on NBC, that drives me nuts........ I just don't understand that kind of behavor from some folks... All the criticizing about people jumping on logo's on the middle of the field........ Please, kids are kids, thier going to do things they should'nt do. I bet you LSU kids have jumped on someone's logo sometime. I think this is blown out of proportion anyway. Anyway, Maybe It'll serve as more motivation for the fire for the football team or something. I don't think its very smart to do it before a game, however. Like Auburn did do a few years back.......
Granted I am biased and don't hear the same things you do. But I will always think Tupperville is a jack*SS. He was when he was at Ole Miss he has been since he was at Auburn. I have a hard time seeing how the mans nature has changed. I never disliked AU until he got there. I have been to an AU/LSU game on the plains. Remeber when that building behind the stadium burned? I was there. I thought Auburn was very beautiful town and Campus. I didn't have any problems while I was there. Its just your coach...I think he is the polar opposite of ours. Ours wins with dignity. He refuseds to run up a score (which has made the 3rd and 4th quarter for most of our games miserable this year!). But that's his style...he is 100% business and 0% bravado. When yall unload Tupperville, I will be back to being cool with AU.
I have been a season ticket holder for nearly 30 years and LSU has not jumped on anyone's emblem or cursed out the opposing coach during warmups (that was Alabama last year). And I promise that a Saban player has not done anything remotely like that or he wouldn't be on the field. I as a fan was offended when the AU players did it...I was there, and that's all about the coach...a good coach would have taught his players a better game philosophy than that. It was studpid and tasteless and apparently the SEC agreed...they got a 15 yarder for it before the game even began.
Why are the auburn fans saying that trash about us? I went to read it, and I can't believe what they are saying. I always pull for ANY SEC team, as long as they are not playing LSU.
Tubbs is a coach, he doesnt have the power of mind control. I agree that the coach instill the virtues, and shapes the team. But at the end of the day those players still have free will and a mind of their own you know?? WAR DAMN EAGLE!!
So Morgan are you saying that you don't think Tupperville encouraged that or at least looked the other way while they did it?
