I do root for Auburn and all other SEC teams during bowl season. Those years when we were down and I didn't have anyone else to root for also. But I don't understand AU fans rooting for USC, a pac 10 school vs an LSU, sec school. Because the media loves the pac 10, not the sec. Sorry but I think because of that the pac 10 is overatted every year. Look at USC's schedule this year, they haven't played a top ten team all year and are #2. I think they beat a team ranked #15 this year. I do realize they played Auburn this year and they might've been ranked but its not where you start but where you finish.
Oh I understand they play in a much easier conference. Its just those fans who are so adamant to pull for USC over LSU are the ones that dont really care about the conference and just want them to lose. But it seems like there are some LSU people who are like that with AU too. JMO WAR DAMN EAGLE!!
What kind of a loser is so pathetic that goes to an opponents website and slams another SEC school. What a couple of punks. That's when you know that we really got 'em! They are so humiliated that they got their ass handed to them that they are rooting for someone outside the conference. And their comment to the effect that everybody in the SEC hates us...what the heck is he talking about? It is well known that people love to make road trips and tailgate with us in BR. Those posts are so typical of Auburn fans. This coming from a team with a coach that runs up the score (whoops...USED to run up the score), has his players stomp on the eye of the tiger emblem in the middle of our field and lights up a cigar on our field after a victory. Auburn has no class at all.
This whole LSU/AU-class/no class thing is just a never ending monster. Its never going to end, everyone is never going to see both sides, and as long as message boards are around its never going to calm down. Both teams have people without class, its a fact of life. I personally would just rather watch USC and LSU play each other and leave OU out of the mix. Things would just work out so much nicer if we had playoffs. WAR DAMN EAGLE!!
Ditto AuMorgan21, I agree with you on that.......... Sometimes I wonder if we live in America or not. With some of the fans on these boards from all schools. You would think it would be an America vs Middle East or something...........
Mogan, there is a big difference between a small subset of idiot fans with no class on both sides and a coaching staff with no class. There is no excuse in the latter.
Fans will be fans...agreed. But when coaches don't control their players, like AU Bobby Bowden and Miami then its an institutional problem.
