"Tubberville is going to Nebraska ... pass it on"

    NO WAY!!!!
Nebraska will hire a winning coach.
(or someone that looks like a winning coach)

Not to burst anybody's bubble, but the vast majority of Auburn fans, in fact, do not hate LSU. Most of the AU fans I know regularly root for LSU, as I do.

To paint all with the same brush seems to be the very complaint that many LSU posters have railed against at times on this Board.

I will not lie. I feel LSU is the best in the SEC (by far) and that USC has a better defense than LSU (slightly, due to depth). But that doesn't make me an LSU hater by any means. I'll also tell you that I believe OU will pummel any team they're matched up with....so the way I look at it, LSU could finish 2nd behind OU if it wins the SECC and Bowl.

Trust me, Auburn fans reserve their "hate" for Bama and the gators, not LSU.

    Good luck, win out!

CA, you have been a great Auburn poster here. Titan, Morgan, and Chuck ain't bad either. But we have had to read way too much outrageous crap from way too many of your brethren to think that that is much love of LSU from Auburn fans.

They hate Bama, Georgia, Florida and LSU with equal vehemence. I lurk boards all over the SEC and there is nothing to equal the hatred, fan-bashing, ugly posts, and general negativity on the Auburn boards. They are obsessed with "class" and clearly don't even understand the word.

I appreciate your efforts to defuse some of the conflict between LSU and Auburn. I'm with you on that. We have to play each other every year and we just don't need this crap. But I think you're in the minority over there, amigo.

I did not know we could do that

Did you read some of those post?

Did you read the one where we lost to OLE MISS and then flooded the toliets in the upper Southendzone. The water flooded down to the only gate they could walk out of.

My question to them is how did they know that it was the toliet did they taste it and did they have experience with toliet water before so that they would know they were tasting toliet water.

I could not make this stuff up I sit in the section that they always talk about and I never see this.

I completely understand the post, but I think you'd be exagerating the degree of the issue if you only considered a few outrageous posters as construing anywhere near the majority of the Auburn family.

We'ver certainly had our share of obnoxious LSU posters that appear the "hate Auburn". I'm just not willing to concede that a few "squeaky wheels" represent the entire LSU fanbase

Good luck, beat the hell out of the 'Leghumpers.

Well Im sad I was only listed in the "aint bad" category, but I suppose it could be much worse. ;)

I think part of the reason AU fans and SC fans started being fans of each other was because they realized the good things in each others programs. I know that most of the SC fans had never experienced SEC football (and we all know that SEC football is a whole other experience in itself) and they experienced it via AU, so they became mild fans of AU. That and they were pulling for us for selfish SOS reasons too. But most all of the fan interactions were pleasant and open to understanding the traditions. So it was a fun 2 year rivalry, and thats why most of the AU fans are outspoken for them I guess.

And to be fair, you have your own share of fans who wouldnt pull for Auburn unless they were playing against a team full of Satan's spawns, and even then Im not sure. ;)

    WAR DAMN EAGLE!!

"Ain't bad" is tremendous praise in the piney woods where I grew up. When my dad made bisquits he was really proud of, he pronounced them "ain't bad".
