Chuck, Being how you are one of the few Auburn fans that I enjoy talking to, I've got to tell you that I feel your pain. Remember the #3 ranked 2000 Bama team? That great team led by that great coach went 3-8. I'm not saying that our ship is righted, but four coaches later, we may be on our way. It will get better on the plains. Keep your chin up.
We LSU fans know all too well about what you are going through right now after suffering through Dinardo's last two years. Granted the hype wasn't quite as great, but everyone here thought LSU had finally turned the corner. Then Boom!! Its all gone just like that. However, I think Auburn is too good to stay down for long. I have a feeling they will be a different team when they come down to Baton Rouge.
Keep your chin up Chuck. Auburn will beat Vandy. If they stuggle in doing it the your season is shot. If they come out hitting on all cylinders and dominate Vandy then you still have a chance of having a decent season. Tubby needs to bench Campbell for whoever you have as a backup. I didn't see any of the G Tech game but I watched most of the USC game. Campbell played like he was on drugs but the one positive thing I saw with your offense was that Cadillac made a couple of decent runs where he got most of his yardage on his own. Tubby needs to turn the play calling over to Steve Ensminger, who has done well as an offensive coordinator in at several places.
I know there is a lot of sympathy replies here, but I have to warn the barners, Vandy isn't the same ol bucket it used to be. Are they going to win the east, well, No. But they will surprise somebody this year. I guess beating Auburn won't really count as a surprise at this point.
the pictures were removed because of Karma . . . I didn't WANT to remove them, but I think the college football gods are unhappy with me, so I thought maybe my Auburn pictures on a rival board were displeasing them . . . I still think we lose to Vandy. I have read a few things by CTT and nothing he is saying lead me to believe anything will change, we tells me we will lose.
With the high that Vandy is on (hanging 51 points on ANYBODY should boost confidence, esp Vandy) and the low low low that Auburn is on, how the hell could anybody say that Auburn will beat Vandy? And it's in Nashville, where Auburn's margin of victory the last THREE tries is NO LARGER than FOUR POINTS...it's going to be painful to watch!
