Geez, think what you want about Auburn fans but please don't base it on what you read on message boards. That goes for Auburn and anyone else including........yes LSU. Message boards are generally fun but there are some a-holes on any of them. I peeked at a few other SEC boards this morning and there is a post on everyone of them about the latest stuff in BR and the reaction is the same as the Auburn example posted above.
Especially places like ITAT. Plus there is little tolerance for smack talk on the scout boards, which leads to the more "radical" Auburn fans running amok and spewing hatred towards other groups. None of us want to be be judged by a small minority of our fans. How many of you want MarineTiger or Fightin' Tiger or tirk or NoLimitMD or ramah to be the reprensentative for all things LSU?
I should have elaborated, a few Auburn fans. I guess my point, I realize we have an issue with some of our fans now, I dont think stories of grandmothers being beating and cattle raped as spread on message boards were valid, but we do have an issue with a small group of people. but for someone to call all of us filth, and trash and some of the things said to me is uncalled far, the Filth he refers to is my 4 year old niece in a little LSU tiger cheerleading outfit, or my father or our familes. I guess reading this post makes me realize that some people need to get a bit of perspective, us included.
All this talk about how bad LSU treats everyone, but not Auburn. I remember a story a very reliable person told me about one game at Auburn. Some drunk AU kids decided to steal Mike the tiger, and kill him. Well, we all know how bright AU people are. Those dumb sumbitches stole their own tiger. You see back in the day they were called Auburn Tigers, and they actually had a tiger as a mascot. Anyway back to the story, so they stole their own tiger and killed him. And that my friend, is why they have that stupid ass bird now. LSU fans, please be patient with AU fans. Some people lack the capacity to understand
This one takes the cake, guys. One, Auburn has never had a live tiger mascot. Two, no matter how drunk or stupid you are, you can't make that kind of mistake. We are talking three states and several hundred miles. Three, once you steal it, why kill it? Why not just kill it? Saint, you are obviously some kind of crack head. Put down the meth and head back to whatever park bench served as your bed last night. Oh, by the way, we are still the Auburn Tigers
Relax dude. Of course my story is not true. All I am saying is, not everything you hear or read is true. Sure we have some bad apples, but so does everyone else. If you get your information from any media source, it will be blown out of proportion. That is what they do.
I guess my sense of humor was removed at birth. Either that or it was a (to use one of your words) silly joke. I failed to find any humor in it.
