this, i think, is what the tam victory and season means to lsu. i don't have a desire to go any further into what it does for the sec.
Then I would guess that neither one of us are paying stoops a compliment. Just not a football program that seems to invoke their will on the other team. The power of perception is amazing. Mile's teams perform so much better in the bigger moments, Stoops and Miles have both won a NC. Yet Oklahoma folks seem not to care, half as much, with these types of sub par performances from the sooners.
I was merely trying to set the timeline of the transformation of Big Game Bob to Big Game Boob. I'm glad you responded and brought up the exact point I was going to bring up (in another thread) about never hearing about Stoops being on the hot seat. He's had respectable regular season records with a dismal single win in post New Years games in the last ten years. Oklahoma's tradition of winning football far exceeds that of LSU's, but their expectations are far lower or more realistic.
It means that eaTme made a mistake coming to the SEC. If they had stayed in the Big12, they would have been undefeated and playing an Alabama team that their team could have beaten for a BCSNC. At least that is what I tell my Aggie breathren to mess with them...
We beat Oklahoma the last time we played. We beat A&M the last time we played. Their game is meaningless to us.
What it tells me is that Notre Dame is going to get crushed, and Oklahoma sucks. Not So Big Game Bob St. Oops has been going downhill.
Over 500 yds offense against chokelohoma. Wow. Watching them next year could be fun. I'm definitely gonna be in the valley for that game.
