Here we go again with the rankings. Who cares what Athlon thinks. I mean what is teh point of even having preseason rankings, they are so pointless. I think USC should be consistent and refuse to play in the Orange Bowl since Coach Carrol doesn't think that it is the real championship game. They should just play in the Rose Bowl from now on except when the NC game is at the Rose Bowl.

Mr. Peabody, also, here's the one from CFW: College Football Wire Pre-Season Top 20 : 1. Florida Gators 2. USC Trojans 3. Georgia Bulldogs 4. Oklahoma Sooners 5. Michigan Wolverines 6. Miami Hurricanes 7. Texas Longhorns 8. Florida St 9. LSU Tigers- Being the only media outlet that picked the Tigers to finish anywhere near number one last year makes us feel a little sentimental towards them, but even we can't pick them to repeat. Gone are QB Matt Mauck, WR Michael Clayton, and defensive leader Chad Lavalais. Head coach Nick Saban is an amazing recruiter though, and will again have LSU in contention for the SEC title. 10. Bottom line...rankings mean sqaut! Lets not be over confident in our program, hope that they win, not expect it, and win EVERY single game by playing ONE game at a time! We do that, and NC will come to LSU as fast as thugs go to Miami.
Just remember Auburn last year. Preseason #1. Postseason, well . . . I don't expect a national championship every year from Nick. I just want a perennial top-10 team with a shot at the championship every few years.
I like West Virginia. Rich Rodriguez has done a great job at the flagship university for CNS's home state.
no problem one game at a time and things will work out. I think it is wrong but does not bother me much. LSU will be a very good team and will be the bulls eye for every team they play. I think LSU will be in the mix when the last game is done. :lsug: :laflagwav :usaflagwa
Your reality will come soon enough ... when the best OL & the best RBs in America come trashing you in your own house ... nowhere to run or hide when that big LSU OL runs herd on you clowns. Auburn just doesn't stack up to LSU in the trenches. Period. End of story. That's reality ... can't wait for you to "get some"
