that is less true because the issue is far more muddled and complex. it is harder to figure out, for instance, how the economy works and how to manage world affairs. you dont necessarily sway towards one side as you become more educated or smarter.

religion on the other hand, is quite clear. religion is faith/lies and atheism isnt. you dont really learn more about the world and improve your critical thinking skills and then come to the conclusion "hey, magic is true".

Well we will see who has the last laugh when I’m kicking back drinking a 40 with JC on the stoop behind the pearly gates of heaven while you beg for a room with air-conditioning with a view of all the other atheists’ souls burning in hell.

On a side note, will you be my friend on facebook? I need another farmville friend so I can build a bigger barn.

Your "critical" sounds more like contentious. Smart people are rarely extreme in their critical thinking skills. You take very much, an all or nothing approach. Under the Major religions of the world, the vast majority of people claim to be religious. That includes, intellectuals, politicians and even scientist.

You are, however, posting on the right forum. As college football fans see only the color of their team, you seem to show that same gift for all opinions, not your own.

    1. your writing style is far too wordy, all the words you use are making your intent less clear.
    2. sometimes an issue is black and white. religions are made up. it doesnt make me thoughtful to say "well maybe this or that is true..." they are made up.

So, how do you explain a dude like me. Pretty good with the logic, despite being really dumb, but a raging Cathoholic. I just can't live without my Cathohol.

you are too smart to be catholic, but you are. if i knew you in the real world i would think about it, then present an extraordinarily condescending psychoanalysis as to why i thought you couldnt shake off your religion.

I am probably too awesome for you to condescend, not that I am doubting your prowess at it. I am just that awesome. I could win a trophy.
