At this point would anything other than Atlanta and NOLA for NCG be a disappointment?

I think the difference between this year and 2007 is that this year's team just doesn't have the same amount of pressure on it. In 07, we learned how good the team could be in the beatdown of Va Tech. After that game, none of the teams on our schedule should have come close, but with the new spectre of Saban at AMAB, the season became a stressful march for Miles to "prove he belongs" in the eyes of fans and media. It's probably one of the reasons he was so emotional in the infamous SECCG pregame press conference.

This year, the Tigers have gone out and won big, but fans understand they have games against equals (AMAB) and near equals (Oregon). Fans will be disappointed if we lose to AMAB, but it won't be an indictment against Miles as our coach. Personally, I think this lack of pressure is one reason this team just keeps pounding hapless opponents--they play loose and like they have nothing to lose. Miles is much more relaxed because he knows the fans are beginning to love him and he knows that here is where he wants to be. That attitude has reached the entire team.

    A beautiful sentiment!

I think anytime my team loses there is disappointment. Obviously, the expectations are high this year for LSU, so I would be disappointed if they didn't win them all.

That being said, i'll be in Tiger stadium for the first time on Nov.25th. If they would lose to the Piggies, i'd be real disappointed.

After what this LSU team has overcome and accomplished "so far" there is no way I would say that not making the trip to Atlanta and on to NO for the BCSNCG would ever be a disappointment for the season. This team has accomplished too much for that word to ever utter out of my mouth regardless how the season finishes out

This years defense has kept all the games from being close.
