Although I haven't kept up with the specifics of this issue, it never interested me that much after hearing a couple of people debunk the conspiracy theories. At first, I thought it was just the crazy far-right that even brought this into conversation but seemed to never die. Has there ever been any focus on the ages of his parents from the far-right crazies? Just wondering if that had anything to do with not releasing it earlier. If his mom was 18 when he was born, then she was likely 17 at conception. If his dad was 24, would that have been statutory rape in Hawaii at the time?
The thing that I never quite understood is why Obama didn't say, "Where is the evidence that I was born elsewhere?" When someone is making a case for something, the burden of proof is completely on them.
Obama should have never engaged a PR battle with trump. As annoying as Trump is when he's hounding you, he's infinitely more annoying when he spins everything you do and say in response to him. Plus you can't beat the guy at PR. You just can't.
