As usual the media is starting the LSU will lose predictions

collegefootballnews.com has given LSU props all year, although they still somehow have USC as #2.
They do pick LSU over UGA.

 

Right now it is all about match up attractiveness. ESPN and ABC feel that more people are interested in seeing SC and Okla, and that the ratings will be better. It's not a football decision for these guys. SC will bring in more fans on a national scale, plain and simple. So, in the best interest of ratings, an LSU loss this weekend will fix everything this bowl season.

However, LSU can control this. They can go out Sat night and defeat the "better" Georgia Bulldogs, in their own backyard on national TV. A win will add debate to entire process, and some fans will start questioning the integrity of ABC/ESPN if they start talking about how SC deserves it over a 1 loss SEC champ. I'm not saying we will be handed an invite to the Sugar Bowl, but it will put doubt in the fans minds if we are not selected.

SCREW THE MEDIA.....we know what we have in Baton Rouge this year, and I feel strongly a lot of these folks will be eating crow Sunday morning.

My experience with LSU in big games is that they play better as the underdog. Even though we are favored in Vegas, we are an underdog to the so called "experts" of college football.

LSU has had quite a few years of losing seasos in the past.

LSU is known for losing the games we should win.

It will take many years of winning and convincing wins on top of
that before the media will believe us.

It will all start on Saturday.....................

If we would've put more points up against the good teams instead of sitting on leads.

This stuff wouldn't happen as much, in my opinion.

 

I prefer being the "underdog". Who anoints these guys "experts" anyway? Dubow says Ga. will put up 28 on the Tigers. We all know what our scoring defense stats are so no need to go there. Ga's strength is their defense so, if anything, an "expert" analysis would predict a low scoring defensive battle. These guys don'r necessarily hate LSU. They just are not convinced that we are the real deal. Put a spanking on Georgia and I guarantee you they will come around.

If we would've quit sitting on leads people would think we're

If we barely win they will find a way to say we were Lucky.
