Art had to play in Miss due to his age. The high school age limit in La. got him.

Any question that ties in with the "Italian Stallion" is definitely news worthy.

Yep, not that there is anything wrong with that.

LSU has had great backs over the years that caused much consternation in the SEC. One of my favorites was Charles Alexander "the great" Ran kind of straight up like Bobby Humphrey but had a burst that would leave you. Oddly, we defended him pretty good, but a most dangerous dude. Hilliard and Hester were just painful to watch.

Bama has had their share of great backs. I still have some old tapes of Hilliard, the Bama game being one of them. I was at the game in the Ham, when Hodson and Guidry playing QB beat Bama. Mickey Guidry to Sammy Martin.

Guidry wrote a book called, "Through the Eyes of Number Two." It was a good read, I have a signed copy somewhere.........

    LOL, 19-18, OK.

Doyle, maybe a foot short on that 54 yarder, as time expired. But always a good game.

When I said "Ham," that ment at Birmingham, Legion Field. That game Bama was ranked #6 in the country.

True, that always seem to have good games every year.
