I didn't make it up. I heard it on the Michael Savage show last night. Admitidly (sp) its a bit tongue in cheek but its disgusting to hear the outpouring of sympathy from the media for a man who is responsible for who knows how many deaths of not only Christians and Jews but Muslims also.

Goes back to the European attitude of appeasement embraced by Kerry and liberals in general.

WASHINGTON -- A leaked draft of the Democratic Party platform and recent statements by John Kerry suggest that a Democratic White House would continue the Bush administration's enthusiastic support for Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon.

However, the decidedly circumspect wording of these documents do hint at subtle, but potentially significant, differences in a Kerry administration's likely policy regarding the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Last month, Kerry released a position paper titled, "John Kerry: Strengthening Israel's Security and Bolstering the U.S.-Israel Special Relationship." The paper was designed to assuage concerns of pro-Israel voters still rankled by Kerry's comments during the primaries, in which he harshly criticized the Israeli construction of the barrier in the West Bank.

"Assured of the nomination, Kerry appears to have reversed his position on the West Bank barrier, which was ruled illegal Friday by the International Court of Justice.... Pro-Israel groups have been quick to seize on Kerry's apparent capitulation on the barrier as a victory for Israel."

no, that's not what I said. the man is a terrorist, but the French offer him refuge and attempt to keep him "alive" long enough for his people to try to negotiate to bury him where he wants because his Muslim religion requires him to be buried within 24 hours of death. what I am referring to is the fact that he is being treated like a well respected world leader simply because he is on his death bed. look at how the media in America is covering the story. they don't tell you what he really is. the man is a terrorist, no different than bin Laden or al Zarqawi, yet it is being put aside because he is all of a sudden just a human being on his death bed. i don't think liberals in America back terrorism, but they are willing to overlook terrorism as long as they are not the target. that is a fact, not speculation. if you don't believe it, read up on the subject and listen to a few "liberal" opinions. they may call it "horrible" or "tragic" but they are unwilling to do anything to stop it.

Does anybody else see the irony of this man so desperately clinging to life after convincing so many young men that death is the greatest thing since they put pockets in pita?

Whoa. That's some serious sour grapes there Red. Your attitude is the same as the rest of the Democrats in this country and that's why this sh!t will never change. Quit trying to bash the messenger and listen to the message.

I don't see how Arafat dieing is good. The Palestinians will say he was poisoned and start bombing. The Isrealis will go bulldoze some neighborhoods. Some nut job who is just as bad or worse than Arafat will rise up. Its an endless cylce and the eventual passing of Arafat will not in any way change it.

And on another note does anyone really believe the Isrealis want peace? They were headed in that direction with Yitzak Rabin, but they killed him. The assination of Rabin was probably the final nail in the coffin for peace in the in that conflict.
