I think you're mistaken on a couple of things. First, in your senario, if Arkansas was eliminated, we'd go to a two team tiebreaker with Auburn, which they'd win the head-to-head. However, I don't think Arkansas's game against USC counts. I think they mean teams from the East only when they say "non-division" opponents. I feel like Florida's game against Florida State a few years ago had no affect on that three way tie other than Florida's BCS ranking.
My God what was Houston Nutt doing. Does he not want to win this game. Your on the 45 with 30 seconds left and you just run out the clock with a first down and a timeout. I bet that series may cost Ark. this game. Horrible coaching.
Arkansas gets the kickoff and a chance to knock this bunch out with a TD. I really believe 24-10 lead would be Curtains for Auburn. Stats ------------> AR ----------> AU 231 yards ----------------------->161 23 plays-------------------------->40 plays 10 yards/play--------------------> 4 yards/play 149 rushing----------------------->64 rushing 10 yards/rush-------------------->3 yards/rush Mustain 5/8 for 82 yds & 1 TD----->10/17 for 97 & 1 TD Mustain 63%---------------------->Cox 59% Flags ------------------>Ark hosed on 1 pass interference call AU ain't ****! Much less the # 2 team in America. This makes me sick. 24 or 27 points wins this game!
Damn, that McFadden is a stud! Arkansas running! 1st Downs! Don't get conservative, Nutt ... let 'er rip and bust a NUTT on another long TD pass :hihi:
Yeah I wasn't sure what the non-divisional opponent thing meant. I did correct myself after the fact on the head to head thing with Auburn. So basically I guess it would come down to BCS ranking, in which Arkansas would be out, and then Auburn beating us head to head gets them in.
I agree, that's pathetic game management. Shows no confidence in your offense. You play not to lose, you usually lose.
Dirty azz Barners, took out McFadden with a cheap shot :dis: Damn refs won't call a dang thing on AU at AU :cuss:
