I didn’t see anything regarding a rebuff. Announcer was saying he himself didn’t like being consoled as a player. The announcers today were horrible.

I’m old. I went to an LSU baseball game way back when Jim Smith who I think was also football team’s equipment manager was baseball coach. Lsu was losing like 21-2. During game the players were eating hot dogs in the dugout.

Boy, what could have been this season, eh, with AUB besting UGA? If we don’t lose to Troy, who knows? But, that loss also lit the fire for the coaches and the players. We may not beat AUB if we don’t lose to Troy. Life/college football takes funny turns. It’s rare to have a well oiled machine that is Saban/Bama. At least in college.
