You won't have anything to worry about with MSU. They mailed in this season several games ago, shortly after they played us. They weren't very good even when they were trying to win, either. Your team would have to be in a coma not to beat them by at least two TDs.
I KNOW IM GONNA CATCH HELL FROM OLE MISS FANS BUT I HOPE YALL BEAT THE HELL OUTA THE HOGS , I KNOW IT WOULD COST US THE SEC TITLE GAME BUT YALL BEAT US SO THEREFORE YALL DESERVE THE TITLE MORE , SO BEAT THE HELL OUTA THE HOGS LSU 45 ARK 7

Reb, Ole Miss will beat Miss State by 50. Ole Miss is one damn good football team. And Miss State.... Well they have basically mailed it in.
I have hated, loathed, been disgusted with anything Ole Miss since I was a kid. BUT, they played a helluva game on Sat and I was nervous as hell. Started me thinking back to 68 or 69 when LSU was 6-0 and that fricking Archie brought the Rebs back to win 26 - 23. The tigers drove the field at the end of the game and was 4th and 6 or 7 and Mac went for the first instead of the tie. Wanted an undefeated season. But, what the hell, that hurt left a long time ago. But, anyway. the ole miss d was awesome and will have no trouble stomping the deliverance clones from starkville. We will have no prob with the piglets. LSU 24 Piglets 10.
I agree and feel the same as you, Bellewr. It was 1969. I was 11 years old, and I was at that in Jackson. I still remember how devastated I was when it was over. LSU had been flying high, having blown out nearly everyone they had played, thus far. The defense that year was about as good as this year's edition, if not even better - they posted three shutouts that year. Ole Miss, somehow, had a mediocre 3-3 record, but Archie Manning pretty much single-handedly won the . Mike Anderson, George Bevan, and co. harrassed him the whole , but he just kept squirming away, scrambling and putting the ball right on the money. The Tigers drove to the OM 23 with about a minute left and, indeed, passed up the tying field goal on 4th and 8. Mike Hillman passed to Tight End Bill Stober, who was crushed right as the ball arrived and couldn't hang on. LSU went on to win the rest of their that year, including a rare win over the Bear. So, that was the only blemish on the Tigers' schedule in 69. I was very fearful last week of a repeat this year! So, unlike some of the current fans who were unhappy winning "ugly" and not winning more impressively, I was extremely satisfied with the "W"!
JohnnyReb called this http://www.tigerforums.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=8979 Jonnyreb almost called this game
You won't find any Hogs around here. The Beatdown in Baton Rouge is a rout that they will never forget. They are too shocked to type right now. :geaux: :lsug:
