The intangible is the proverbial "most improvement of the season between 1& 2nd game" against a top5 team, extremely deep and certainly with emotion on its side. Does ASU improve enough to stay with a more talented LSU with everything to play for? Guess we'll find out next Sat. (i hope!) :geauxtige
one thing you'll discover is that in any blowout games the team with a huge lead will give up tons of yardage through the air. most due to prevent type/zone defenses protecting a lead although its often players knowing the game is out of hand thus playing that way. Saban always did this late in games even with "relatively" small leads. ASU's defense is still their question mark which we knew coming into this game. you never know til a team is tested. last night they were not. however they scored at least 14 pts in each qtr. thats tough to do regardless who you play given you are playing backups at that point. impressive.
