Only goes to show people how obsessed Auburn fans are with crying about us....whether its Oregon State (cough ProudTiger cough) or this guy with ASU
I was stationed in Yuma for almost 6 years while in the Marines and I don't care if it's called dry heat or not, over 110 is frigging hot. It's like taking a hair dryer and turning it on and just holding it to your face, and if not careful the dry heat evaporates your sweat and your body can over-heat. (Heat stroke) The heat here is different but just as bad, the worst is the change to your body going from the dry heat to what we have here and vice versa.......the Arizona St. boy's could have some problems because the harsher change is going from the dry to wet, at least it was for me.
A lot of people there install misters on their patios to shoot some moisture into the air. Believe me, humidity is better than that dry heat. Trees and their accompanying shade grow in humid climates. Those 'Zona people have to hide behind large rocks for relief. Grass? Never heard of it. The landscapers drive around with gravel and cacti in their truck beds. A rainstorm in Phoenix is like snowfall here. The kids run outside to play in it while Mommy explains what that stuff is to the younger ones
I have my piss filled ballons and machine guns loaded for when their cars come running through Baton Rouge.
I can't believe that ASU hasn't bought their whole allotment of visitor tickets... This is a pretty big OOC game & a few people are saying ASU could have a really big season. You'd think they'd be very excited about this game. Perhaps they aren't as passionate as we are & don't talk football year round. Or perhaps they are scared after reading a few articles about how talented our team is. :hihi:
I dunno if anyone told you but uhhhh.... it's the pac 10... im not sure they know they have a football team
The funny thing about reading the posts on the ASU board is that the only people I've seen get absolutely destroyed by tailgaters are Gators and Bama Fans. Even Auburn fans get off light compared to them. Reading all that stuff gets me all weepy, wishing I could be tailgating and having fun w/ the opposing fans a bit before the game. Damn....TIGAH BAIT! Feeling better already.
