beginning to realize that their image as the faction of "tolerance and diversity" isn't fooling anybody anymore, so they've just dropped it and taken off the gloves. Now people are seeing them for what they are...elitists who are interested only in gaining power.

Hello?! Earth to sourdoughman! I denounded Tom DeLay. You asserted that people are having too much fun with his 'one' trip scandal. I offered irrefutable evidence that proves otherwise. Why bring up Hillary? I can't stand her, but we weren't talking about her. Don't change the subject, just acknowledge that DeLay is a bigger scumbag than you care to admit.

Why are people forever justifying shady republican dealings by comparing them to the Clintons? They act like it's some sort of get out of jail free card. Besides, if the neo-cons are SO head and shoulders above the Clintons, why is the comparison necessary? Doesn't it frighten you that you're having to forgive what these fools are up to by comparing it to the actions of 2 people you obviously despise?

these going ons but you can find Tom Delays story anywhere.

Ok, you got me about Tom Delay and fundraising but how do you look at one side and call someone a scumbag and totally ignore the other side and still be objective?

I will sum up your questions simply, you can't look at one side only and ignore the corruption on the other side of the coin.
There is corruption on both sides and everything Delay has done people on "both"
sides of the aisle have done but no one cares about the left and their dirt.
