if i assert that X is true, we have to analyze the evidence and verify it is actually true, before we start believing it. saying somethig out loud isnt enough to make it true. if a person says god exists, or that they can fly to jupter and back in 4 seconds, i ask why, if they say faith, then no thanks. you can believe them, but i am sane.

actually I think you need to learn how logic works my friend. You made a statement that a belief in God was stupid and I enumerated all the reasons why a belief in God isn't stupid at all as long as you are not trying to attach ridiculous human qualities to that God or assuming that you know the will of God. In fact, I was clear that the possibility that there is a God is at the very least 50%. Since no one has been able to prove or disprove the existence of God, the chances of God's existence has to stand at 50-50. To surmise that there is a 0% chance that God exists is to rule out half of the potential answer to this equation. That is flawed logic. Yours is flawed logic; not mine.

there is not equal probability that a random fact is true or untrue. you need evidence to assert that things are true. where is your evidence?
