I'm sure someone did witness a player spit on the ground/eye, but it has now overblown into the entire team taking part in some sort of spitting fest. It's all juvenile in my opinion. Who cares, it's a painted eye on the ground and they jumped on it....we kicked their as$ on the field....next opponent...
Proof is in the pudding. Check out No. 96, 50, and No. 1. Does that look inflammatory and/or disrespectful? Those jackasses (thought they) knew what they were doing. To me, that's hardly an innocent meeting at midfield.
This is the best pic yet showing the inflammatory nature of what they were doing. This should end all doubt.
Their little "bring it on" gesture is the same one Mike Stoops gave Les Miles (with something about "you want some more of this") after one of the Bedlam (OSU vs. OU) games that OU stomped OSU's ass. Seems like teaching young men that taunt is one of his greatest feats in coaching.
Oh, and that old rivalry between the Stoops boys and Miles is the reason my father (a rabid Oklahoma State fan) was more than happy that LSU kicked Zona's ass.
