I said pretty much the same thing well before the Moo U debacle. You know that whoever is going to play QB needs to develop a passing game other than just heave it long to Dural. You know it. I know it. A lot of people on this message board know it. Does Les Miles know it or is that not even a part of his thinking process? Maybe when I start making $4.3 Million a year I can go brain dead too and still keep my job.
I'm not upset one bit. After watching them both play against Wiskey, Jennings appeared to be the most ready to play. Harris wasn't ready. And Jennings has played ok. Our line has collapsed on him a few times. Backs have missed blocks too. Jennings did NOT throw the ball well when he had the chance Saturday night. He missed a few throws badly. And there were times he was running for his life. He scrambled well. Got hit hard a few times. Harris has improved. Let's see how the kids play from here on out.
Agree, even P. Manning plays horrible without pass protection; I.e. the Super Bowl? Right now, Jennings is the better option when given time.
I wholeheartedly agree. At least it will be much more fun to watch, win or lose. And there will be lots of close games from here on out if Harris is the starter.
