1. How many times will ESPN discuss who was a bigger bust, Ryan Leaf or Jamarcus Russell. However, I will say he did have an arm but when he left I was relieved since his decision skills were just a tiny bit above a box of rocks!
  2. That's easy... Ryan Leaf. JaMarcus never ended up in prision.
  3. Did you see Jennings hit the turf with his throw to an open receiver in the middle? Would've been 6. How many over the head passes, or in to the turf throws did Jennings make Saturday? Versus Harris' 1 bad throw? How many TD passes does each QB have?
  4. The fact an LSU Tiger is in the discussion is too much for me................
    GregLSU likes this.
  5. 1 drive... Yes I seem to remember JJ having a few drives that were excellent too, then a ton that weren't. So what?

  6. the bigger bust rests on who collected the biggest signing bonus. they both won the same significant amount of games. none.
  7. Jennings was obviously hurt. We know he has the arm. The throw to Dural against Wisconsin on TE run dropping it in a bucket proves that. Hell even Todd Blackledge was complimenting him on throwing the ball before his receivers broke their routes. The guy can qb, they just won't let him because Miles is still letting 2008 dictate the way he handles the quarterback.

  8. the latter part of that holds some truth. but the former, jennings injury wasnt his issue. in fact if he was injured, he should have hit the shorter routes which were open all night. however, he locks onto dural and sees nothing else and throws down field. hes gonna have to mature very quickly for LSU to amass a few W's.

This is why Les should not be practicing the running game in the rent-a-wins. But hes never done this in his 10 years here. Until its too late. This I'll never understand. NMS gave up 400+ yards rushing last week to NM. Their instate rival. What will we do? I think we throw a lot more because Les' hand is now forced.

We change only after a loss. despite Moo U having the 106th ranked secondary, we played right into their strengths. I will just never understand this logic. Our gameplan was destined to fail Saturday no matter what. This is what makes miles so frustrating.
  9. and wide open guys also dropped several passes.
  10. Guys , please get over 2008. Our offensive line is bad which make the QB bad. Jennings did not have more than 4 seconds to throw at anytime tonight. The receivers did not do a very good job catching passers. This will be a long year. That O-line is bad.
