    You don't understand women?
This begs the question . . . if all of the good coaches are determined, stubborn, authoritative, and don't listen to fanboys, then why are Despicable Me and the Minions bitching and moaning?

I vote for Harris, but at the same time, I know Jennings is a Tiger through and through and
I hope there is enough success by season's end to be shared by both.

I do wonder what it would take for Miles to ever play a walk-on QB. I still think about the kid a few years ago that turned down the ULM's of the world to walk-on and then had to stand on the sidelines and watch one of the biggest disasters to ever play QB, JJ, and never get in a game.

Kragthorp played against New Mexico State and completed a pass.

This is a great point. I would argue that any good coach has a huge ego (most good athletes do, as well.) Without the huge egos, they would not have risen to the pinnacle of their profession.

And we're using it as a bad thing--that he's stubborn and proud.

How many of us in our own personal lives are stubborn and proud? Isn't it human nature?

But everyone wants Miles to throw up his hands and say, "I was wrong; everyone else was right. I'm a fool." That's just not going to happen.

I'm wrong all the time and admit it.

Miles should do the same. He doesn't have to say anything in fact. Just start the better player.

Which is probably why he was a little terse in the post game. He got humbled a little bit, his reaction is human nature. I have no problem with it and I respect him for it. I've been humbled before, and whether it's in front of a large audience or 112 men, the feeling is the same. Don't make it personal, take it for what it's worth and move on. Stubbornness and ego is a good leadership quality; knowing when to let it go is an even better one.

Exactly. Kind of like how the smartest people that I've ever met are smart enough to know that they don't know everything, and humble enough to admit it.

A great leader maintains the faith of his followers. Sometimes that means not giving them what they want because you know better. Other times, it means just doing the right thing, despite your previous stance on a particular subject.
