I would say that he has to manage the team based on the talent he has. At this point, he has to go with what he has and hope the bats come around. No question. They seem to be coming around, and if they pitch well and the hitting continues to improve, the team will have a shot to make a wave or two in postseason.

But, I'm not going to ignore the fact that he recruited and decided that he wasn't going to have many middle infielders or many pure hitters. That is what I mean when I say use the word makeup of the team. So, when the team is struggling as a result of the makeup of the team, I think he deserves criticism.

i don't know man, that dude proudtiger always seems really cool.

as far as AT1990's comment, though, the only part i have a problem with is him calling TF a 'vast wasteland'. if you don't like it, i can show you the door.

That is only because he was caught on an Oregon state forum bashing LSU left and right while at the same time posting here complimenting LSU. Now he tries to kiss butt as much as possible in a failed attempt to save face.

No I did not go to Assumption but I have seen a few Assumption games and even talked to The Monster a few times. If you played with him then I don't have to tell you how he used to dominate. It was amazing. I think he will do well with the Giants.

Great post. This is 100% accurate.

Sabanfan is one step away from TE in how he attempts to antagonize people. He even admits it above when he said he likes to pull chains. Like I said, it's pathetic really.

You don't have to adopt blind homerism to be a good fan. I pull for the tigers and either go to, watch, or listen to every game even when they are losing.

Don't forget he constantly laughs at how obsessed we are about them then goes over to the aubbie boards and starts numerous threads talking about us.

    What a hypocrit

I will agree with that, but over the course of the entire season, not on a few games at a time. I do think we need better depth all over or we wouldn't be playing as many of these guys who have pretty much slumped all year. I also have a feeling the schollarship limits have something to do with it though. Maybe we need to do a better job of recruiting the best players in LA so that we can use the hope to a better advantage.

Fair enough, but think about where were were just 2 fridays ago after the loss to Ole Miss at home. I would say that we were far enough into the season to start questioning this team. Granted, they've turned it around (it's not over, they need to maintain this momentum), but like I said, we were a loss or two from this being a disasterous season.
