I'm pretty sure the hate for Nick wasn't so much about leaving LSU for the NFL. It was for coming back to the SEC. It didn't help having to see fucking Alabama stickers around town in Louisiana either. I still feel like there's a bunch of under the table money being traded around in Bama too. If Nick stayed here we'd probably already be on sanctions. At Bama he will get a statue lifted in his honor and not even an investigation.
Reading over the Aggie boards and they're doing damage control after they thought the Dave A. was a done deal. Stating Mike Elko is actually a better hire. I posted a couple of messages... they're a little sensitive about the topic. lol
I don’t dislike Ed Orgeron. Hell, I never had a problem with him being on the staff. I also don’t blame him for taking the job. What person in his position wouldn’t have? My problem with Orgeron is his used car salesman mentality. Promise one thing, deliver another. This is LSU, we shouldn’t be settling on a defensive line coach just because “he wants the job” as Alleva said. It was a knee jerk reaction to the fact that Alleva got played twice. So he settled and while all these other schools are upgrading, LSU damn sure didn’t. It settled. Again for better or worse we are stuck with him, and he has his chance here and now. I just don’t think it’s gonna end pretty.
That’s what happens when you run the Roy Moore/Hillary Clinton of Louisiana against him. No one wants a governor who pays hookers to put diapers on him.
