Bruce Feldman and Stewart Mandel talked about how Baylor is a really slept on job. You don't have a powerhouse conference. You get playoff teams in though if you win it. Baylor apparently has really nice facilities and pays crazy money. They're a quiet financial juggernaut. Waco isn't a bad place to live. They said it's for sure better than a State or maybe even Ole Miss type job. I hadn't realized those things but these guys are plugged in.
I hope he stays too, but our defense has been sustainably good since Saban despite rotating coordinators. With the exception of 2008 and 2013, we’ve been damn good with a number of different guys. I am hoping we learn to do that on offense too.
Why wouldn't he be, I think the real question is does he want to be a head coach. I would think he does, and here is the worse news. He will probably pull a few coaches with him to Baylor, or at least we will be competing for Coaches against him to replace him. 1st world problems baby
Of course he is gone and guess what, just like the Jrs that left early will fall flat on his ass. Baylor? Pfft how is it these guys are so fucking stupid. I will enjoy watching him struggle in the big 12.
The talk of him not liking to recruit best be false because if he really doesn't like it then his job just got a lot harder. There is more competition for the superstars of that area than probably anywhere else in the country and he is going to be coaching Baylor, lmao good luck Mr. Clean you will be at absolute best 5th choice of anyone with talent and that is being nice. Asshole
