I run XBMC on an old PC that is connected to my TV. I have my local content integrated with remote content all in one library... So my Spotify music is listed alongside my mp3s and my Amazon, Hulu, and Netflix are all listed alongside my downloaded stuff. XBMC is not for the techy stupid though. It takes a good bit of work to keep up because of changes made to addons and websites. From everything that I've seen, Roku3 is the way to go for most people. If you have a PC with downloaded content, use a program called Plex (offshoot from XBMC that has a server/client setup) on your PC. You can stream your library from your PC to your Roku via UPnP.
