I know Steve Jobs says that OSX on netbooks suck but I have had a good experience. It runs well and only cost me 200.00 for the Dell 1Ov and 29.00 for snow leopard. Everything works. View attachment 13070
Screw that Ipad, I just bought an amazing Toshiba laptop. Toshiba - Satellite Laptop with Intel® Core i3 Processor - Quantum Black - A505-S6005 the Intel i-core processor is super fast. Now if someone can tell me how do I network Windows XP with Windows 7. Someone told me it cant be done.
without the ability to clamsehell closed, like a laptop, i fear it would get smashed in my manpurse. or i would have to buy a fancy hardshell case for it, in which case i would just rather carry a laptop.

Microsoft's concepts always look awesome. But they always seem to miss on the final product. If this one is anywhere close it will be pretty useful for students. I guess I shouldn't be surprised the IPad is doing so well. Anytime apple puts out any piece of hardware cronies will eat it up even if a superior product is on the market. Those apple folks are marketing wizards.
They already have thin neoprene gloves for them like for the iPod. That cover cushions my iPod well. There is also a lightweight fake book with a wooly interior to slip an iPad into.
Does the iPad Make Man Purses Okay Now? - Ipad bag - Gizmodo for the record i oppose manpurses. i carry a messenger bag or backpack. they are too large to be considered a purse of any kind, so shut up.
Well, I don't expect to walk around with an iPad anymore than i walk around with an iPod or a cellphone in some dorky holster. I sure wouldn't need a bag for it. I usually take a rucksack if I need to carry gear that doesn't fit into my pockets. Or a briefcase if I'm in a suit situation, which is as damned seldom as I can arrange it.
