I think anyone should have the right to point out what they think Smoke is or isn't doing right, just as others have the right to disagree and debate the issues. After both wins and losses.

But I do believe that anyone who calls for a coach's head after a few games or a bad loss is doing the team, the coach and the school a huge disservice. The judgement should almost always be after the season plays since baseball is a series of ups and downs.

Questionable? We've made every SR since they've been doing SRs. We are first in the SEC West, 1 game out of being in first overall in the toughest conference in the nation. Ranked 8th in the nation? Making the field of 16 definitely isn't a reach. We will face mostly weak competition in another regional at home.

Rice lost to Texas Southern last year. Don't think it will be all that easy.
