Poor baby, do you and Martin feel better now for giving me neg. rep. points? Had to edit so martin wouldn't feel left out on the giving of neg. rep. points.

It was really hard for me to type this, with the crying :bncry: and all, but I shall endeavor to persevere. I have faith that my friends and others here who equally enjoy your post, will reward me with far more green dots than you could ever take away. :thumb:

I must leave you now, and since you believe in nothing, have a Happy Day and a Merry Evening! :hihi:

they can have dress codes, but they should be enforced consistently. not based on the unfortunate politics of what the student is doing. besides, this issue is about the prom, not regular classes. that makes a big diffrerence.

obviously, private schools could make it mandatory that kids only wear swastikas that say " all niggers are evil" on them. only the government has the power to coerce citizens. anything done privately was obviously what the owners of the thing wanted and nobody was forced to do anything and taxpayers had no part of it.

right, the mentality of pc is so strong that people are terrified, even when they do not mean to offend. this is what i hate the most. and we continue to encourage it, to always take the side of whoever was offended, because we want to be seen as good guys, sensitive people. the fact is the people who are getting offended are wimps, and the people defending them are even more spineless. freedom of speech is infinitely more important than people's tendency to be offended. people who get offended are miserable stupid bastards.

I think he is accusing you of "trolling". I don't really have a problem with that kind of thing, though.

When I was in high school about a dozen or so years ago, we had looser dress codes than today (no uniforms or name badges), but there was a rule that students couldn't wear anything considered "offensive". Of course, it was up to the administratino to decide what was offensive or not. We did have a dumbass wear his grandfather full KKK robes, hood and all, including a swastika medal on some "dress-up" day. He had to leave, and I believe was suspended.

So, if this school has a similar rule in the dress code (plus they even told her not to wear it beforehand), what's wrong with them enforcing the rule just as they would have if she wore it during a normal school day?

Trolling? I've defended my position on the prom quite adequately.

rickyd is out of line (typical of someone devoid of an argument).
