    They're all from Michigan.

They are performing the greatest free fall in poll history.

I don't know why people pay any attention to the AP poll since it is no longer a part of the BCS.

Unless you believe in the AP title...

First, I won't claim USC has the toughest schedule in the nation, too much subjectivity at some point. However, out of all the teams listed above that LSU is playing, only one of them is on the road and that's Bama. This year's road games are Miss St (check), Tulane, Kentucky, Ole Miss.

USC is playing kal, Nebraska, Oregon, Arizona St, and Washington on the road. Perhaps that weighed in. Our other OOC game is also on the road and against a major rival. Okay, forget nd. I apologize for the broken record but playing on the road can make a difference.

What I find funny is that Pac10 fans, for the most part, only mention that when it's to their benefit and didn't give LSU any credence for it last year and automatically turned to our OOC schedule.

Luck of the draw, I guess. Seriously, though...Cal proved something Saturday night...they have some serious weapons on offense...and ST...but not much on the other side of the ball. Tennessee's offense leaves a lot to be desired, but they still put up 31.

Nebraska, IMHO, is still a ?. If we go by last year, they were decent at best. I don't claim to know much about them, but from what the media says...and how they vote...I guess they're supposed to be better this year. Of course, Michigan was supposed to win the Big 10, too. Too early to tell with them.

I don't think you mentioned those 5 teams to claim that they're all good teams...at least I hope not. Other than Cal and Nebraska, the others shouldn't give USC any trouble.

And thank you SOOOOO much for not including ND!! I know it's a rivalry game, but so is Tulane for us, at least I think it used to be a rivalry! Actually though, :eek:lefire: is a rival game for us...and it's usually a hard fought game. But I don't see anyone including them to show how tough our schedule is.:thumb:

Tennessee got flat out out-coached this past weekend. They tried to play Cal's game, and lost a track meet. Last year, they physically abused Cal, and it worked like a charm. This year for some reason, they tried to play more of the fast paced finesse game, and that just ain't gonna work for a team like Tenn.
