Not sure I could say I'd be disappointed. National Championships are hard to come by. I'd still take satisfaction in beating Florida and Alabama two years in a row. But the word choke is always poorly used in sports.

I would be disappointed, but at the same time still extremely proud of our team. Les and these guys have us expecting greatness every year, and they give us greatness. A choke it would not be, but there would be disappointment.

You know, I have been reading here for years. Not much a fan of posting but holy crap did I just read that with all that Lesticles has done in his time with LSU? I mean I was not much of a fan of Les in the beginning but I will be the first to admit the man won me over and I put my faith in all that quirkiness he displays.

Nothing is unsatisfactory about being a top ten team, a national powerhouse, every year. Disapointing maybe. Les on the hot seat, nope.
Are you old enough to remember lsu football in the 90's ?
We used to rush the field when we beat a highly ranked team. We were happy as hell with the peach bowl.
We are #1 and have been most of this season. If we stumble , we will not have failed. We will still be top 10. We will be back next year to do it again. Don't worry, be happy.
