    100. Not only do they not share the virtues, they don't share the idea nor do they see the US as the greatest country in history.

I was listening to a guy on a pod-cast the other day and he made this point. IN the past, people came here and had no safety net. They had 1 option to make it. Learn the language and assimilate.

2nd amendment brother. It's the last line. As long as we have that, we are somewhat safe. The inevitable taxation death is more likely to hit us withing the next 10-20 years.

    • Today's income tax rates are strikingly low relative to the rates of the past century, especially for rich people. For most of the century, including some boom times, top-bracket income tax rates were much higher than they are today.
    • Contrary to what Republicans would have you believe, super-high tax rates on rich people do not appear to hurt the economy or make people lazy: During the 1950s and early 1960s, the top bracket income tax rate was over 90%--and the economy, middle-class, and stock market boomed.

Are you in the top bracket? I ain't. Not sure what you are posting that.

We cannot sustain this level of spending without taxing the middle class more. Its inevitable. You could tax the rich at 100% and it wouldn't pay for half the shit these new socialist are proposing.

my point is, "The inevitable taxation death is more likely to hit us within the next 10-20 years.", aint gonna happen,.. wealthy people won't let it. Business and the rich, fear monger, and clammer constantly about high taxes,.. but both are doing extremely well, despite what they say,.. neither will allow big tax rate jumps.

Being squeezed by taxes? look into it on a state and local level, all federal income taxes are pretty low historically. I'm clueless, and admittedly disinterested in knowing about business taxes. But as a whole American business is doing well.
    https://bradfordtaxinstitute.com/Free_Resources/Federal-Income-Tax-Rates.aspx

Federal tax rates are not going to skyrocket no matter who is President,.. the teen queen says raise the rate to 70%, zero chance of that happening, the fat cats simply won't allow it. Extremist new policies don't fly in Washington DC, change inches forward or not at all, it's sort of a backhanded American strength that keeps us stable.

We mostly have nothing to fear but fear itself, in regard to fed taxes,.. illegal immigrants, is a much more important issue in regards to our future.

When/if libs and progressives become the majority, they will mimic CA. Taxes and illegals have destroyed this state. With legislation about to be signed to forcibly increase my taxes to pay for illegal's medical care, I don't know how much more I can take.

Why do you think dems want to get rid of the EC? Because they are counting on the lib/progressive votes from both coasts to determine the Presidency. That really should bother everyone, but it doesn't.
