I noticed that you said no other "American" immigrant.
I would argue and say the jews have been treated worse in WWII.
I would also argue that this conversation should be world wide and not limited
to America because other groups have been treated just as bad if not worse
    than blacks.

I would also argue that even though Koreans, Vietmanese and Japanese weren't treated like slaves, they were still treated very badly and discriminated against badly during the conflicts with those countries.

i think you mean the new york times.

    and lottery,

can't you see the ridiculous condescension of telling blacks they are are not good enough to compete on a level playing field and treating them like they re in the special olympics?

and then when they do something well they have to deal with the stigma of everyone thinking it is possible they got where they are because of their race, and not their merit? i know that i would have less respect for anyone hired because of race and not merit.

once we recognize race has nothing to do with qualifications, we will be better off.

And just how many of those black people who were chained and put on a ship are still alive? Slavery hasn't existed for over 135 years.

Blacks sold them so they wouldn't be sold themselves. The Holocaust doesn't compared to slavery. An estimated 6 million Jews were killed in 5 or 6 years. An estimated 200 million blacks were killed in 200 years. Not even close. Sure slavery was eliminated long ago, but it hasn't been 40 yrs since blacks were given legal equality. If America hadn't discriminated against blacks as badly as they did, do you think more blacks would be in middle and upper class. The answer is hell yes. In American law, if you are held accountable for a person sustaining injury, you have to pay. The situation blacks are in stem largely to America's laws, America now has to pay, not with money but with AA and putting money in black schools(which we don't do).

Are you telling me that 200 million blacks were killed by all white American men?

    What about women?
Should we have AA for women too since they are still discriminated against in the middle east today and they were just able to vote and be of equality in the millitary
and the business world for how long?

They were killed in slavery. I don't know of many slave owners who were black. Women do receive scholarships for gender and also there is Title 9.

I never said anything about paying money and I can always count on you to make a moronic remark when we're trying to have a serious discussion.
