what do i care about that? like i said before, even if my grandfather shot your grandfather in the face, i know nothing about it and it has nothing to do with me. i dont owe anything to anyone. what happened before my birth is of no relevance to me, and it shouldnt be to you. live today. you should get no special treatment.

Sure, I'll just forget my past. Look at Legacy admissions where students are given priority b/c their parents went to the school. Well, my parents couldn't go to those better schools, so i don't get legacy points. Is that racism? See the past still affects today, i can't get legacy points b/c of what happened in the past.

Calling me Jesse isn't an insult to me. This is called a debate, so if you're bored leave.

it is my understanding that legacy admission only happens at private universities, and is therefore out of your jurisdiction as an american taxpayer.

i didnt have a legacy admission either, but i guess i cant complain like you because my lack of legacy had nothing to do with race?

I don't have legacy points either, so what. So are you telling me you got into Tulane because you are black or because you are smart. Were you just a gap filler or did you honestly beat out all of these racist white people to get into school?

It happens in public colleges also. Since you guys like referring to your buddy Colin. This is what he thinks of AA.

With the crispness and clarity that are the hallmarks of his delivery, Powell began by pointing out something that white Republicans often do not admit: that racism and the legacy of racism still hobbles African-Americans. "The issue of race still casts a shadow over our society, despite the impressive progress we have made over the last 40 years," he noted. Powell decried the way the country fails to provide a basic education or meaningful economic opportunities for young black men, choosing to deal with them instead through the criminal-justice system. "Time to stop building jails," he declared.

besides, if people want to be racist, who are you to tell them not to be unless they are an instrument of your government?
