Everyone is entitled to their opinion and Herbie gets paid for his. The early years of "Gameday" saw Herbie trying to be the voice of reason with Corso picking games like he coached, wild and woolly. I do believe he reflects Musburger's little man syndrome of college choices. Along with Brents Northwestern Montana heritage, Herbie is sounding a lot less pragmatic about the big boys that ever before.

I hate that fugger. But he has to put up with Mushmouth, so there is some payback.

Herbie is just a punk. He is like the spoiled brat that all the other kids in school cannot stand. His arrogance is par for the course for an Ohio St alumni, and EVERYTHING he says about LSU, or CFB in general, should be taken with a grain of salt. He is a "Legends and Leaders" homer, but he also keeps 1 hand on USC's jock at all times.

With that being said for his "opinions", he does do a good job of calling the games.

You people do realize that when Herby is doing a broadcast for ABC, he cannot give his opinion on who he thinks will win. Just watch ESPN Gameday and he always skips his pick and they mention it's because he is doing the game.

So Red is correct, although he didn't know the exact reason why he was correct.

    Read it again.

"Herbstreit did not make a prediction for the Oregon Game because he was calling the game"

That GD OSU "Tressel testicle" sucking phukker ... picked Oregon to take LSU in the opener ... I watched his lips moving when he said it ... I don't give a crap what Red thinks.

The dickwad also picked Oregon and Bama in the BCSCG instead of OK & Bama like everyone else in the preseason ... and they were riding his arse about that after LSU whipped Oregon

And ... the week of MSU ... he was building up MSU saying "he likes MSU's chances of pulling off the big upset" at home ... Again I watched his lips moving when he said it ... and he hawked on how Mullen and Company had MSU FB at a stage that was the best in their entire FB history

Lather rinse repeat this week ... building up WV & Dana Halgorsen

    FACTS:
    1. Red is fullocrap on this one.
    2. That bastard Herbie hates LSU with a phukkin passion.
    3. Since LSU eviscerated OSU and took the 2nd BCS crystal in 2007, being the first team ever to win :crystal::crystal:

... This bastard has "bo-honked" LSU at every opportunity

    Eat ***** and die Herbie

Proove me wrong ... show me some video where this walkingpenis is saying LSU will win in any of the first three games ...

We know he'll jump on the bandwagon sooner or later (like 2007 before we annihilated OSU) ... Just watch him eat that crow

We missed you so much on these forums Ramah. :insane:

There's a difference between Herb saying "He likes MSU's chances at an upset" and actually picking who was gonna win. He also said in Red's video "Unless MSU gets some breaks LSU's defense is going to make it very hard on them."

Gotta really calm down there buddy. Getting worked up over Herby is like getting worked up at the special ed kid that you get to clean your lawn for free accidentally raking leaves into the pool once in awhile.

Yep, Herbie doesnt make predictions on games he is calling (Oregon, West Virginia)

BUT - I have heard WVU over LSU upset picks by quite a few others.
