You're the only person that I've heard say anything other than this being a great hire. Now that it's announced and he's only wr coach, you still think it's s bad hire?
I can't recall an Auburn WR that would have seen the field at LSU in a long time. They've mostly been forgettable, so I'm not sure Craig's making his money on teaching the finer points of route-running and catching the ball with your hands. It's a pretty good hire on his recruiting prowess. Add in that LSU just snatched away one of AU's best recruiters and it becomes a great hire.
No shit. Be nice if someone came in and changed the dynamic of actually catching the ball. And not just the easy catches, but the money catches too.
great athletes are often terrible at teaching their trade. though there are exceptions. far more failures however.
