Like I said, his dad just thought his son deserved a shot. He never claimed to be the coach. Matt's whole family loves LSU. Just because fans were unhappy with this years QB play does not mean we are upset with Nick Saban.

I can tell you've spent time on the BAMA boards, LOL "CNS".........STOP!

Haven't heard anything but Sean Merrill's dad moaned & groaned quite a bit this year over on TB. I'm sure we'll have some attrition due to numbers & should make room for a few greyshirts.

Actually, no I haven't graced any of the Bama boards with my regal swervedness, but I get lazy sometimes and don't like to type.

I don't doubt his family's devotion to LSU, I didn't intend to come off like that in my post. If I were the kid's father, I'd feel that way too I'm sure (which as I stated, is probably normal). And of course, I don't mean EVERYONE is mad at Saban. It's not hard to see who the real fans are.

But, it seems that alot of people question Coach Nick Saban's (Not CNS... hehe) judgement especially regarding this year's QB situation. You hear it on talkshows, see it in the forums, and even in the stands at the game.... That's what I was making reference to. Personally, I trust the man. If he decides that Claude Wroten is no longer on defense, but going to play QB from now on and Herman Johnson will be a wide receiver, then I've got faith in whatever he sees.... Let's do this!

Exactly. When the man says that he thinks the coaches did a better job this year than last year, then they DID a better job. Saban knows what he is doing and a lot more people trust him than what it seems. It's in a fan's nature to bitch and complain. That doesn't mean they don't trust him. I wanted to see Randall play against :eek:lefire: a bit more. That's why I'm not a coach getting paid 3 million a year....

I would guess that there are about 80 players on the roster who are somewhat disappointed, in both themselves and the staff. Anyone who is not disappointed at least a little if they are not starting shouldn't be on the team. And I am sure it will effect some of the guys a little more than others, especially upperclassmen who were passed by true and redshirt frosh on the depth chart, those are the guys that have to make a decision and hopefully most of them will decide to work harder than ever to get into the mix; others may transfer.
